Although I didn't shell out $425 for a pair, I did purchase a knock-off for a much much much much lower price.  It's been about 3 years since I've had them and they're still my go-to boot during the colder months. I can throw them on with pretty much anything. I think any woman would find a pair quite practical, which is why I'm excited to share this find.
